Based in our Barcelona Office, Inmaculada has been Managing Director for Christie & Co for Spain and Portugal since they were established in the Spanish and Portuguese markets in 2000, carrying out the opening of the firm’s offices in Spain. In 2020 she was appointed as Christie & Co Director

Inmaculada has extensive experience in the management of investments and disinvestments in the hotel sector, in which he has advised countless investors and national and international operators in all cycles of business development.

She holds almost 30 years’ experience in the Real Estate sector and 20 in the hotel sector. Prior to her appointment, Inmaculada was Business Development Manager and Land Director in Catalonia for the English company King Sturge. She also worked for 10 years for the Foreign Investment Division of CIDEM (now known as Acció), organisation dependent on the Catalan Government, responsible for attracting foreign investment to the region, where she was coordinating the Division in charge of relations between Catalonia and Israel and, as Project Technician, she intervened in multiple implementation projects of foreign companies from different industrial segments in Catalonia. In addition, she was responsible of the development of the Industrial Location Service, the first industrial and logistic land base in Catalonia, oriented to meet the need for investors to locate their investments in the Catalan territory.

She is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) as well as a member of the Spanish lobby Mesa del Turismo Plenary. In 2017 she performed an Executive Master at the Singularity University in Silicon Valley (CA).

Throughout her professional career, she has participated as speaker and/or moderator in numerous conferences specialised in the hotel sector, both at national and international level. She has also been part of the teaching staff at the International Master in Business and Public Policy in Madrid (bilingual Spanish-English), a Joint Diploma of École des Ponts Paris Tech, Menéndez Pelayo International University and the College of Civil Engineers, Channels and Ports. She regularly gives talks to Secondary and High School students as to bring them closer to the business world within the "School and Business" program. Finally, she is a teacher at the Master in Hospitality Management of the Sant Pol de Mar Hospitality and Tourism University School, attached to the Girona University.
