Christie & Co expands his team in Spain with Joan Bagó as Hotel Consultant

International hotel property adviser Christie & Co is pleased to announce the expansion of its team with the incorporation of Joan Bagó as Hotel Consultant.

The incorporation of Joan, who will be located in the Barcelona office of the firm, responds to the need to strengthen the Hotel Consulting division, very active in recent months carrying out a large number of projects for investors, international chains and operators in different cities of the peninsula.
With a degree in Tourism and Hotel Management from the University of Barcelona (CETT) and a Master in Finance from EADA Business School, Joan began his professional career in different operational areas of hotels in Barcelona, was part of the online travel agency Agoda, in Hungary, and completed an internship program at the hotel consultancy Magma Hospitality.
Prior to joining the team, Joan worked at Christie & Co for more than three years as a Market Analyst, where he specialized in the analysis and study of the hotel market in Spain, Portugal and Italy, carrying out market reports and participating in consulting projects, such as valuations, feasibility studies, expansion strategies and search for operators.
On this re-incorporation, Joan Bagó comments: "After five years of experience in the tourism sector and one year of specialization in the financial sector, I am returning to Christie & Co with the intention of providing a technical, specialized and personalized service to our clients. The role of consultancy, both in terms of strategy and investment, will be key to respond to the growth expectations that currently exist in this moment of incipient recovery and greater optimism".
Inmaculada Ranera, Managing Director for Spain and Portugal, adds "We are delighted that Joan has decided to rejoin Christie & Co after a period dedicated to completing his specialization studies in international finance. His deep knowledge of the sector, combined with his outstanding analytical skills and unique talent in presenting data through creative and original ideas, are a very valuable addition to the Consulting division, led since last May by Nicolas Cousin."
