The Campanile Elche comprises 76 bedrooms, a restaurant, bar and meeting spaces and will operate under Louvre Hotels Group’s Kyriad brand upon completion of the required rebrand. Situated within an industrial area in Elche, the hotel is ideally located as it is easily accessible and in close proximity to the heart of the city.
Due to its location and facilities, the hotel is equipped to cater for a range of guests looking to visit the city of Elche – home to multiple corporate and academic enterprises – for leisure and business.
The city is also known for its shopping and historical sites, providing a strong draw for tourists, both domestic and international. Nearby attractions include the Museo Paleontológico de Elche and the Basílica de Santa Maria, a landmark church built over the ruins of an ancient mosque.
Coré Martín, Head of Madrid office at Christie & Co, comments, “Elche’s hotel market has grown exponentially in the past years, going from an occupancy rate of 40% to 65% in 2018. The Campanile Elche opened in 2003 in the business district of Carrús and is regarded as a well-established hotel with a loyal national and international clientele. The restaurant and the common areas have been recently refurbished with a fresh and attractive style. Benefitting from a prestigious international brand, the hotel offers an excellent opportunity for a first-time hotel investor or an established operator to improve hotel performance by leveraging on a reasonable rooms refurbishment.”
The Campanile Elche is available on a freehold basis and subject to a sale and franchise back. Christie & Co is inviting offers for the individual hotel, small groups or for the whole portfolio, which includes hotels in the following locations: Turin (Italy), Zevenaar and Leeuwarden (Netherlands), Coventry and Hull (United Kingdom) and Berlin and Kiel (Germany).
